Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral of St George

One of the largest projects in Australasia was assigned to Mavromytis Pty Ltd, the manufacture and installation of 9 Chandeliers as well as 13 Light Solid Brass Bishop Lights.

Main entrance – Three Chandeliers consisting of 44 Lights – Solid Brass Chandeliers

Main Chandelier – 64 Lights – 3 meters, Solid Brass

Main Chandelier 64 Lights with two smaller Chandeliers consisting of 28 Lights each

A tabernacle, also known as an artophorion, is a container on the altar table of an Orthodox Christian Church specifically used to reserve the Eucharist, the presence of Jesus Christ.

Bishop Lights – St George – Custom made Bishop Lights, Solid Brass

We are proud to showcase the craftsmanship, the following Bishop lights are hand made from a traditional foundry in Greece. Once the items are made they are then applied with a high gloss varnish for longest lasting finish and best treatment.
